Adidas is shutting down production of its zippered hoodies in China following two years of production.
The Japanese footwear brand has been struggling to keep up with demand in China due to its strict government regulations and tight supply chains.
Adidas said on Tuesday it will be shutting down all production in China, including in the country’s Zhejiang province, the country with the world’s largest textile market, from January.
It said that it will stop selling the zippers and pull out of the country by the end of this year.
Earlier this month, Adidas said it would close down its factories in China by the middle of 2020 due to government regulations.
